Background:

Custom Part Numbers are usually used in Project to add a Part to BOM Report as a record, but they are not associated to any symbol in Physical or Control Drawing of the Substation. The Custom Part Number are usually used to Parts like accessories of different equipment like Transformer Nuts and Bolts, Oil for example.   

Also since the these are Custom Part Number they are not stored in the Parts Database but they instead they are stored in the Project. 

Steps to Accomplish

1. Click on Manage >> BOM Manager to open BOM Manager dialog. 





2.  Select the Work Order number >> BOM Document number >> Revision Number under which the Custom Part Number need to be created. Click Add New >> Part. 




3. In Add Part Dialog click on Create Custom Part >> In Create Custom Part dialog add the details and descriptions of the Custom Part Number >> Click Save on both the dialogs.
