How to Show Dimension from Midpoint and Component Dimension as User Label

Background

During Isometrics drawing generation process, Component can be dimension from midpoint and its dimension can be show as user label. Below steps can be used using both AutoPLANT Modeler-OpenPlant Isometrics Manager & OpenPlant Modeler-OpenPlant Isometrics Manager. Check below shown in both case.

OpenPlant Modeler-OpenPlant Isometrics Manager

Steps to Accomplish

  1. Launch OpenPlant Isometrics Manager. 

  2. Open "Isometric configuration" Config option

  3. Use "Dimensioning" option from Index present in Isometric Configuration dialog.

  4. Under "Primary" tab, go to option Mid/Endpoint Dimensions & check ON “Enable Midpoint Dimensions”.



  5. Click on “Save”.

  6. Create new User Label “Valve Dimension”.

    Include    IE_TYPE=CT_VALVE_STRAIGHT

    Text   $(DIM1)

    Type   NOTE

    Cell Name   NOTE



  7. Click “Save”.

  8. Generate isometric to review the result.

AutoPLANT Modeler-OpenPlant Isometrics Manager

Steps to Accomplish

  1. Open "Isometric configuration" through Project Administrator. 

  2. Select Settings option and click on "Create/Modify" option. 



  3. Use "Dimensioning" option from Index present in Isometric Configuration dialog.

  4. Under "Primary" tab, go to option Mid/Endpoint Dimensions & check ON “Enable Midpoint Dimensions”.



  5. Click on “Save”.

  6. Create new User Label “Valve Dimension”.

    Include    IE_TYPE=CT_VALVE_STRAIGHT

    Text   $(DIM1)

    Type   NOTE

    Cell Name   NOTE



  7. Click “Save”.

  8. Generate isometric to review the result.
