To Delete a View Arrangement Definition (VAD) File in OpenPlant Orthographics Manager

Background

If user wants to delete a view arrangement definition (VAD) file then it is possible in OpenPlant Orthographics Manager.

Steps to Accomplish

  1. Open project VAD file folder from Project directory  and verify that view arrangement definition (VAD) file is present there i.e. from,
    “C:\ProgramData\Bentley\OrthographicsManager V8i\WorkSpace\Projects\[Project Name]\VAD”



  2. Launch OpenPlant Orthographics Manager and select a project

  3. Go to Drawing Generation – Create View

  4. Select Open already existing view arrangement definition (VAD) file from “Open” button



  5. Open a view arrangement definition file having single or multiple views from “Load VAD File” dialog



  6. The selected file will be loaded in OpenPlant Orthographics Manager



  7. Select "Delete view arrangement definition (VAD) file" by pressing “X” button



  8. Press “Yes” to “Delete VAD File” confirmation message



  9. Go to VAD folder of Project directory to confirm that selected view arrangement definition (VAD) file is deleted permanently
