• NC DSTV improvements
  • Generate NC for unfolded flanged plates with a single bend.
  • Concentric holes are intercepted and reported in the log file for BO (holes) blocks.
  • Inner contour calculations for complicated circular inner cuts.
  • Refined M profile edge preparation.
  • Higher precision calculation for saw length of shapes.
• DetailCenter improvements
  • Fractional dimensions now can be optionally controlled from MicroStation styles or from within the DetailStyle

• • new fraction style option is added to ProSteel place label command.

• • Revision Center is now quickly accessible via the ribbon (Steel > Drawing Production > Detailing). Previously accessible only from Detail Center.
  • The Drawing Verification feature now generates two reports in the form of the OriginInsertionStructure.txt and VerifiedInsertionStructure.txt log files for all workshop drawings linked drawings in the model.
• New connections
  • Stiffener Distribution tool is introduced as a Technology Preview. Used for creating multiple stiffeners and placing them distributed along the steel shape.

• • Cross Bolting tool is introduced as a Technology Preview. Used for creating cross bolting connections between shapes and plates.

• External Partlist
  • The need to detect part differences before generating external partlist databases can now be achieved via Position Number Checks introduced in the Partlist Creation workflow. Equal Part Settings along with the Edit Compare Criteria button allow you to manage the checking of component parts. Desired criteria selection and comparison methods are set in the Positionflags and Positioning Rules dialog.

ProConcrete

• Associative Slice
  • A new Associative Slice tool is introduced as a Technology Preview. Used for creating associative cross-section slices on a given solid along a path. This functionality further aids detailers when reinforcing complex shapes, especially solids that are extruded on arcs and curves.

• Improved Irregular Dispatch Reinforcing

  Previously, the use of Irregular Dispatch Reinforcement on Associative Intersections, on some occasions, yielded distorted bars which had to be manually corrected by reversing guidelines. The enhanced workflow now takes care of guideline direction, modeling correct geometry for bars, and restricts reversing guideline directions only to create crossed bars. It is no longer required to reverse bars because of bar crossing.

  Additionally, bars with reversed guidelines are now marked to be visually distinguishable and can be toggled, when required to generate normal bars.

• Improved Lapped Bars Detailing

Previously, lapped range bars were detailed as a whole run and had one delimiter. The newly added variable called DOLG can be found in display.sys file which controls the detailing behaviors of such bars.If detailing lapped range bars as the whole run with one delimiter is required DOLG = 0 has to be used. If each bar range requires a separate delimiter, set DOLG = 1

• Letter Appended Bar Marks for Vary Set Bars

Ability to add Letter Appended Barmarks has now included in Options Tab in all reinforcement tools that have Vary Sets capabilities. Because of that, it is now possible to have bars in one Vary Set labeled as i.e. 11a, 11b, 11c and so on.

• Item Type Properties in Rebar Labels

Item Types with Custom, User Properties can be added to Concrete and Reinforcement elements. Those properties can be then included in Rebar Labels using the following code structure:

Power Platform

• Connect Licensing

This product version utilizes CONNECT Licensing, which is not supported by SELECT activation key(s). CONNECT Licensing features new behavior to enhance your organization’s user administration and security with mandatory user sign-in via CONNECTION Client to access the application. If you are already signed in to the CONNECTION Client, you have met this prerequisite. If you have not, please refer to the Administrator's Resource Center and/or contact your administrator for assistance in the registration and sign-in process.

Update

If you currently have ProStructures CONNECT Edition or ProStructures CONNECT Edition Update 1 already installed on your computer, you can incrementally download and install ProStructures CONNECT Edition Update 2 from the CONNECTION Client. ProStructures CONNECT Edition Update 2 will replace any earlier versions of ProStructures CONNECT Editions and update it to ProStructures CONNECT Edition Update 2.  Sign in to the CONNECTION Client to view and apply your Application updates. If needed, please refer to the CONNECTION Client help for more information on installing the update.

If you would like the setup executable of ProStructures CONNECT Edition (Full) Update 2, please follow these steps to download it from Fulfillment Center:
    1. Sign in to connect.bentley.com               
    2. Choose Software Downloads from "My Support" section.
    3. Select the Brand ProStructures and then select the Generation of CONNECT Edition.
    4. Download the latest release by clicking on the arrow to expand the selection and then on ProStructures CONNECT Edition Update 2 version (10.02.00.20)
