Duplicate Key Tags Message in OpenPlant Modeler

Overview

While Launching OpenPlant Modeler, sometimes it prompts Duplicate Key Tag Message. 

Problem Description

Duplicate Key Tag Message prompts while referencing any DGN file to working drawing which contains same tags. See image below. 

Steps To Resolve

Standalone Workspace

  1. Navigate to Project folder. See below path for reference: 

    C:\ProgramData\Bentley\OpenPlantModeler V8i\WorkSpace\Projects

  2. Open project pcf file, say OPModeler_Metric.pcf here.

  3. Add variable OPM_ALLOW_DUPLICATE_KEYTAGS = 1. See image below.

Managed Workspace

  1. Launch ProjectWise Administrator and login to your data source.

  2. Go to Workspace, Managed Node and select respective Project CSB.

  3. Double click to open the Configurations dialog.

  4. Click the green + sign to add variable.



  5. Add the variable in the "New Variable" dialog and set the value to 1. 

  6. Click OK to save the variable.

  7. Open DGN file and verify result.

    Note- Please Note, the variable explained above should only work for version 08.11.09.564 & above.
