Background
OPModeler is the default user in OpenPlant Modeler's default configuration. In case of multiple users, you can set default user as per requirement. Every user has it's UCF file which can be found in \\Workspace\Users folder as shown below.
When you launch OpenPlant Modeler, user has to change the user as shown below.
Steps to Accomplish
- Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Bentley\OpenPlantModeler V8i\OpenPlantModeler\config\appl folder.
- Open dfltuser.cfg file in notepad.
Change the name of user as highlighted below. - Save the changes in the file and launch OpenPlant Modeler again to verify the result.
NOTE: If you want to take the backup of original 'dfltuser.cfg' file before making this change, then it is recommended to move the backup file out of this folder or rename this file to change it's extension (E.g. dfltuser.cfg.original).
