Problem Description

While placing equipment in the model, below error message is displayed in message center and equipment diagram disappears from component placement dialog. Below is the dialog and error when placing pump.

Reason

This error is appearing mainly because the cell library which has the diagrams for equipment is missing in the workspace. This file is generally located inside C:\ProgramData\Bentley\OpenPlantModeler V8i\WorkSpace\OPModeler\cells folder.

Solution

Copy equipmentdiagrams00.cel file from delivered workspace and paste it in your workspace at the location given above.

OR

Repair the OpenPlant Modeler installation to get this file back into the workspace.

Result

Once the file is placed at the above said location, this error should go away and you should see the equipment diagram in preview section of component placement dialog box.
