Deleting User Data Files Local and Roaming

Problem Description

In OpenPlant Modeler, when placing pipe if the error " No Component found with initial selection from Specs" user can try and delete data source files to clear up the issue. However there might be several occasion where below solution work and resolve issues. 

case-I

Steps to Resolve

  1. Locate user path to local and roaming files. See path mentioned below for reference.

    C:\Users\"User.Name"\AppData\Local\Bentley\OpenPlantModeler
    C:\Users\"User.Name"\AppData\Roaming\Bentley\OpenPlantModeler

  2. Delete files from these folders.
  3. Restart OpenPlant Modeler & verify result. 

case-II

while working at user's environment, pipeline manager dialog crashes when user tries to edit pipeline and thrown below message shown here.

          

          

 Also it not allowing the system to get it close. 

Steps to Resolve

  1. Locate user path to local and roaming files. See path mentioned below for reference.

    C:\Users\"User.Name"\AppData\Local\Bentley\OpenPlantModeler
    C:\Users\"User.Name"\AppData\Roaming\Bentley\OpenPlantModeler

  2. Delete files from these folders.
  3. Restart OpenPlant Modeler & verify result.
