Overview
On rare occasions, the uninstall process available for the AutoPLANT suite can become somehow corrupted, preventing it from properly removing the associated files, binaries, and registry entries. On these rare occasions, it can become necessary to manually uninstall the AutoPLANT product. The steps below detail this process
**It should be noted that only qualified personnel with experience in registry edits should perform the steps below**
Full uninstall procedures for AutoPLANT V8i only:
- From the Add\Remove Programs right-click AutoPLANT Modeler and select "Change",

and then it can be removed using AutoPLANT Modeler installation application.

- Remove in this order:
AutoPLANT Modleler V8i Edition
AutoPlant Drawing Flattener V8i
AutoPlant Framework V8i
AutoPlant P&ID V8i
OPIM V8i - Before deleting the following folders make sure your projects are saved and backed up somewhere safe.
- Now delete the application directory for AutoPLANT ..\Program Files\Bentley\Plant V8i
- Delete the following Directory
32bit Path: C:\ProgramData\Bentley\Plant V8i
64bit Path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Bentley\Plant V8i - Delete the following Directory
32bit Path: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Bentley Shared\Plant V8i
64bit Path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Bentley Shared\Plant V8i - After uninstalling any AutoPLANT version it is recommended to check registry entries for some leftovers.

- For this purpose it will be much easier if required version registry cleaning file will be used. Below are possible registry cleaning tools:
remove SS3 reg.reg.txt
remove SS4 reg.reg.txt
remove SS5 reg.reg.txt
remove SS6 reg.reg.txt
remove SS7 reg.reg.txt
Download required version, remove "*.txt" ending and double-click.
- After using required registry cleaning tool check one more time if registries are cleaned correctly. Select Edit>Find, search for required version entries and remove if some leftovers will be found.

- Restart your machine, test Vision and document manager again
- Delete all shortcuts for AutoPLANT.
- Go to the desktop menu: Start > Programs > Bentley.
- Right click on Bentley and select DELETE.
