How To Fix "Unable to Load Schema For StressApp" Error in OpenPlant Modeler

In OpenPlant Modeler, how to fix error for unable to load schema for StessApp in OpenPlant Modeler

Background

From Pipeline Manager, upon using Export Data for Stress Analysis feature, throws error as “Unable to load Schema for StressApp”. Refer below image, such issue can be seen due to incorrect installation of OpenPlant Modeler or due to schema file missing from specific directory. This wiki will explain how to fix this error.


Steps to Accomplish

Case A: When OpenPlant Modeler fresh installation is available to another machine

  1. Navigate to below mentioned location & ensure that stressapp.01.01. ecschema is available.

In case if above highlighted schema file is not present, copy stressapp.01.01. ecschema file from another machine where OpenPlant Modeler is installed & paste it to above highlighted location.

Case B: When OpenPlant Modeler is not installed to another machine.

Note: Before proceeding above step, ensure to have backup of your workspace.

  1. Perform fresh installation of OpenPlant Modeler, this will automatically place missing stressapp.01.01. ecschema to correct directory.
