Problem Description

Dimension Stub End:

By default the lap joint stub end component dimension at its flange end part. See image below:

To Dimension Lap Joint stub end from End point below is the customization which is required:

Steps To Resolve

In class editor, open OpenPlant_3D_Supplemental_Isometrics_Isoextractor.01.04 schema (%ProjectRoot%...Bentley\OpenPlantModeler V8i\WorkSpace\ Projects\OPModeler_Metric\ DataSet\Schemas\)

Note: Above path location mentioned for default out of the box installation.
Search Class “Lap Joint Flange”.
Change the mapping for the lap joint end preps as follows:

- Change Calculated Port[0] > End Preparation from “IF” to “LJ”
- Change Calculated Port[1] > End Preparation from “IF” to “FL”.

4. Save Schema and generate isometrics. It will dimension it from stub end. See images below:
