How to Add New/Existing Property to Nozzle Manager Dialog in OpenPlant Modeler

In OpenPlant Modeler, requirement is to add existing/new property to Nozzle Manager dialog.

Background

In OpenPlant Modeler, nozzle manager shows few defined properties to nozzle manager dialog. Below wiki article explains procedure to add a new or existing property into nozzle manager dialog.

Steps to Accomplish

  1. Launch Bentley Class Editor.
  2. Open OpenPlant_3D.01.07.ecschema of respective project from mentioned directory.



  3. Supplement with OpenPlant_3D_Supplemental_Modeling.01.07.ecschema & OpenPlant_3D_Supplemental_ModelingViews.01.07.ecschema.

  4. Navigate to Nozzle class, switch to Properties tab.Refer image as shown below.



  5. Click on Add > New to create a new property.



  6. Enter property name as desired here “DEMO_PROPERTY” as shown below.



  7. Right click on created property select Custom Attributes > Add/Remove to add custom attribute. Refer image below



  8. Search Nozzle Property custom attribute & using drop arrow add to Applied Custom Attributes section. Refer image below



  9. Enter value as 30 (Maximum the value it will add property to end of nozzle manager dialog)



  10. Save all the changes & verify the result.
