Overview

In OpenPlant Isometrics Manager, during in session isometrics generation it displays ERROR: Weld[WELD]6493e68d-54e2-444f-8ff0-22047d414f65 is not connected to Pipe & so on.

Problem Description

In OpenPlant Isometrics Manager, when user generates an isometrics from Pipeline Manager, below error generated: 

Weld[WELD]6493e68d-54e2-444f-8ff0-22047d414f65 & adjoin components could be more than 1,5 ERROR: Weld[WELD]6493e68d-54e2-444f-8ff0-22047d414f65 is not connected to Pipe[PIPE]9f9ccd7c-d62e-4477-94c4-09f6ebc3017d & Pipe Bend[PIPE_BEND]36771838-50e0-4a97-a7dc-d76e61dec30d xyz(-65,3068, -16,4619, 0,0000) xyz(-65,3068, -16,4619, 0,0000) xyz(-54,3068, -27,4619, 0,0000) Weld[WELD]6493e68d-54e2-444f-8ff0-22047d414f65 is not connected to Pipe[PIPE]9f9ccd7c-d62e-4477-94c4-09f6ebc3017d

            

Below steps will aid user to avoid such errors. Below example and error caused shown here using OpenPlant Modeler and OpenPlant Isometrics Manager. 

Steps to Resolve

The above errors mentioned due to different regional settings. currently user need to change the regional settings from comma (,) to decimal (.).

1. Change regional setting for comma to decimal for your system.
2. Go to Control Panel > Change date, time, or number formats.
3. From Region window, select Additional Settings, refer below image.
   
   
   
   
4. Launch OpenPlant Modeler & verify results by generating isometrics using Pipeline Manager.
