Overview

Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 are supplied with .NET Framework 4.5, whereas AECOsim Building Designer (SELECTseries 5) requires .NET Framework 3.5.   Therefore, if you are installing AECOsim Building Designer (SELECTseries 5) on Windows 8 or 8.1  you will need to enable the .NET Framework 3.5 in Control Panel.  For details, refer to the "Enabling the .NET Framework 3.5 in Control Panel" and "Troubleshooting" sections located here: Installing the .NET Framework 3.5 on Windows 8 or 8.1
