Problem

When I am trying to open AECOsim Building Designer V8i, I am getting following error message.

Solution

 1. Download Microsoft Windows .NET 3.5 on demand installer.cab file from HERE.

2. Put this file in the C:\xxxx.. drive.

3. Open Windows start menu, Type ‘cmd’, Run Command Prompt as Administrator.

4. Copy following command and paste it in command prompt.

‘ Dism.exe /online /enable-feature /featurename:NetFX3 /source:C:\ /LimitAccess ’

5. Hit Enter, wait until the process completes.

This should resolve .NET 3.5 error.
