Problem

The number of characters to be used for Annotation exceeds the available space in the Annotation Cell.

Solution

The following example shows how to extend the number of characters used in an Annotation Cell.

in V8i

1. Click the Building Designer pull-down menu
2. Click Manage DataGroup Annotation Cells
3. Select the Annotation Cell you want to modify
4. Select the DataGroup Information you want to use for the Label
5. Set the Length value to the number of characters you want

in CONNECT Edition

 

1. On the Drawing Production tab select the pull-down menu under Element Annotation and click Manage Annotation Cells
2. Select the Annotation Cell you want to modify
3. Select the DataGroup Information you want to use for the Label
4. Set the Length value to the number of characters you want
