Background

User wants to design a car ramp for a parking building like the image shown below. User has made this in Revit and now want to make it inside AECOsim Building Designer.

Steps to Accomplish

The steps to recreate the same model in AECOsim are as follows:

1. Create section of the profile (U shape)
2. Create a Helix
3. Use "Solid by Extrusion Along"

While using the commands shown above you have to make sure of the following settings for Solid by Extrusion Along.
1. Alignment = Normal
2. Lock Profile Rotation = Checked
3. Allow Self-Intersection = Checked
