How to Skip THREAD or SOCKET Weld IDs in OpenPlant Isometric Manager

Problem Description

How to skip THREAD Weld IDs in AutoPLANT Modeler’s isometrics that are generated via OpenPlant Isometrics Manager.

Steps to Accomplish

  1. Assign Weld IDs directly in AutoPLANT Modeler and prepare them to be visible in OpenPlant Isometrics Manager:

  2. Open the OpenPlant_3D_Supplemental_Isometrics_Isoextractor.01.04.ecschema.xml file and go to the WELD class then create a new attribute in "Specific BOM Labels".
    Input the following attributes information as shown in the picture below:


    Name: NAME
    Value: IIF(IM.Match(this.DESCRIPTION,"THREAD","STUB IN_THREAD",""),"THREAD",this.NAME)

  3. Generate the Isometric and verify results.
