How to change Coordinate in different Unit in OpenPlant Isometrics Manager.

Background

In OpenPlant Isometrics Manager. User want to show Metric coordinate unit in Imperial project. And Imperial unit coordinate in Metric Project. Below steps aid user to achieve desired result

Steps to Accomplish

  1. Navigate to project folder.
    For Ex: C:\ProgramData\Bentley\Plant V8i\Bentley Plant V8i Projects\SAMPLE_METRIC\Config\OpenPlant\Isometrics
     
  2. Open Bentley_Isometrics_App_Ecmodel.xml file in Notepad.
     
  3. Search for COORD_UNITS change value as per project requirement. 

            Refer following image to Change COORD_UNITS to MILLIMETER (Metric)

           

            Refer following image to Change COORD_UNITS to INCH (Imperial)

             

  1. Save the file and generate isometric to get desired result.
