Problem

We are using the Clash Detection tool in OpenBuildings Designer and would like to export a clash detection report similar to a DataGroup schedule. Is this possible?  If so, is it also possible to include a 3D isometric view showing each clash?

Solution

Yes, you can use the Results > Export All option to output the current clash results list to Excel as shown below:

While there is no facility to include a graphic representation while using this process, you could walk through the clashes and capture the zoomed/color-coded results as individual image files, and then paste them into the appropriate locations in the Excel spreadsheet.
