When in OpenPlant Power PID and adding a new PLANT AREA value to the drawing settings have you ever wondered why it is limited to 4 characters and only upper case letters?
This is controlled in the OpenPlant_Supplemental_Mapping schema located in the WorkSpace\Projects\<project name>\Dataset\schemas directory. In this file under the classes node you will find the Plant Area class.
| ^ | Required in order to start the expression |
| A-Z\d | Uppercase Letters A through Z and any number 0-9 |
| {1,4} | At least 1 character but no more than 4 characters |
| $ | Match at the end of the input - terminates the expression |
