Basic Electrical Modeling with OpenBuildings Designer

The Bentley Accredited BIM Modeler: Basic Electrical Modeling with OpenBuilidngs Designer is meant to test a user’s knowledge, and use of fundamental BIM concepts and basic Open Buildings Designer electrical tools used in a 3D informational modeling and drawing production workflow.

Users will need to complete project tasks to demonstrate their skills and abilities within a provided building project. Users will create an electrical building model of a small commercial building using modeling tools for panels, receptacles, switches, smoke detectors, and lighting fixtures.  In addition, they will generate drawing views and from the BIM model.
