Using AccuDraw Angle Roundoff for Modeling Efficiency

The Situation

My building design has multiple angles, and I need to frequently place walls and other building elements at angles other than 0⁰ and 90⁰.

Solution

Set an Angle Unit Roundoff in the AccuDraw Settings to add additional angle stops to the AccuDraw compass.

While there are a number of ways to rotate the AccuDraw compass, one easy solution if you are working with the same angles over and over, such as 0⁰, 45⁰ and 90⁰, or 0⁰, 30⁰, 60⁰ and 90⁰, is to set the Angle Unit Roundoff in the AccuDraw Settings to add additional angle stops to the AccuDraw compass.  This allows you to quickly find the angle and lock it, using the ‘A’ shortcut key-in, without actually rotating the compass.
