Problem Description

Sometimes user wants to export Dgn file to Dwg format, but he receives error for Invalid Seed File.

          

          

Reason

This is due to a missing variable in IsoProj.cfg file. We have to make changes in IsoProj.cfg file.

Steps to Resolve

1. Close the OpenPlant Modeler Session and navigate to below mentioned path using File Explorer.
   
   Path: C:\ProgramData\Bentley\OpenPlant CONNECT Edition\Configuration\Workspaces\WorkSpace\WorkSets\OpenPlantMetric\Standards\OpenPlant\Isometrics\IsoProj.cfg
   
   
   
   
2. Right click on IsoProj.cfg file and click to open with any text editor e.g. Notepad, Notepad ++ etc.
   
   
   
   
3. Scroll in the document to find DWG/DXF conversionconfiguration files
   
   or 
   
   Hit Ctrl + F and enter “DWG/DXF conversionconfiguration files” and click on Find Next.
   
   
   
   
4. Once the variable is found, add the following line in the file by entering the text mentioned below.
   
   
   
   To Note - Please type the expression and avoid spaces in between .
   
   
5. Now Click on Save to save the changes and Verify the changes by exporting the Dgn to Dwg format and see the error is rectified.
