Background

In Bentley Raceway and Cable Management (BRCM) cable can be added which is unavailable or not listed in the cable manager.
The cable can be added by Add Cable option available in the Cable Manager.Cables can only be added to the end of the list for a given connection.
Cable can be added by using Add Cable option available in the Cable Manager..

Steps to Accomplish

1. Launch the application and open Routing DGN file. Note: Open an already routed DGN file.
To perform automatic routing refer this link.





2. In Equipment & Cable tab , open the Cable Manager.





3.In the cable manager , select the last cable listed for the connection to which cable is to be added. Right click on the selected cable and select Add Cable.
Note: Add Cable option is available for the last cable listed in a connection as cable can be added only at the end of the list for a connection.




4. A new cable gets added for the connection. The cable can be renamed as per requirement in the macro property tab.
