This article will cover how to customize custom Tools, Toolboxes, creating New Group and adding components to it.

Steps to Accomplish

  1. Launch OpenBuildings Designer CONNECT Edition.

  2. Right-click in the blank space in the ribbon and select "Customize Ribbon" from the pop-up menu. "The Customize Ribbon" dialog opens.

  1. In the Customize the Ribbon list, navigate to the desired workflow and tab in which you want to add the group.

  1. Right mouse-click in the blank space in the Customize The Ribbon column and click on Add New Group and after adding it rename as desired.

  1. Click on the newly created group, from Choose component from section select the desired option and click on Add.

  1. It is observed that the chosen option is added in the newly created group. Click on Apply.

  1. After choosing the applicable workflow and tab, it is observed that the newly added group with its option(s) is displayed.
