Background
UDA (User Defined Attribute) setting, In BRCM there are provision to add UDA's for Cables, Equipment and Raceway. Raceway labels are needed to mention in design drawing, so with help of UDA setting we can apply raceway labels to raceway system.
In this document we provide steps to add UDA’s to Raceway and place Raceway label in 2D extraction.
Steps to Accomplish
1.Launch the application and open a Raceway drawing file.
2. Go to Manage tab and click on Options.
3. In the Options dialog, go to UDA settings add a new UDA as Raceway Labels.
4. Go to Raceway Catalog Creation and edit raceway system to be placed and add UDA settings. In this instance Cooper Cable Ladder Series 1 Steel is edited .
5.Go to UDAs tab and add the UDA to the catalog.
6.Route the raceway with the added UDA.
7.Open 2D extraction file, and click on Raceway Labels.
8. Enable RW Macro, Insert UDA (Raceway Labels) and Click OK.
8.Raceway label get placed,
