Background

How to edit "DrawingIdentifier" and Sheet number?
 

Steps to Accomplish

Step-1,

In your DGN file place a section callout in the desired location



When the ‘Create Drawing’ dialog opens, give the section a name such as 'SectionAA'. Then toggle off the ‘Create Sheet Model’ and ‘Open Model’ check boxes. Then click on ‘Ok’.

Step-2,

Open the Models dialog and create a new Sheet Model

Then click on the browse button select the ‘SheetSeed_ISO.dgn’, Then click on ‘Open’.




Then Select Models dialog will .open. Then from there choose ‘ISO A1 Landscape Side Title’  

Step-3,

Then from the ‘Create Model’  dialog change the Name to ‘Sheet’ and Sheet Number to ‘101’  

Then click on ‘Ok’ and the new Sheet will be created.

Step-4,

In the main DGN file, for View 3 click on View Attributes and select the ‘Section AA’ model from View Setup: 



Step-5,

In the main DGN file, for View 3 click on View Attributes and select the ‘Section AA’ model from View Setup: 



For View 2 select ‘Sheet’ as a model:       



Step-6,

Then from Models dialog drag and drop ‘Section AA’ plan on to View 2:

Then the Attach Source Files dialog will open, there select the ‘Attachment method’ as ‘Interactive’ and click on OK

Then the Reference Attachments dialog will open,  in the Orientation section change the Standard Views to ‘Top’, Nested Attachments to ‘Live Nesting’ and change the name from ‘SectionAA’ to ‘SectionA A’ as mentioned below, and then click on OK.



Then click on the sheet where you want to view the section

Step-7,

Click on the bubble on the sheet and from the right-click pop-up  menu select Properties:



Step-8,

From the Properties dialog change ‘Drawing Identifier’ and ‘Name’. It will reflect everywhere in the callout:
