In OpenPlant Modeler requirement is to hide the properties of components. The reason for the same is that in some projects there is not necessary to have all the default properties to be evoked while placement. So, instead of deleting them, we can hide those properties. Also, in the future, if the requirement is to evoke the same property for a different project, one can just simply unhide & use It as a reference. The below wiki article explains the procedures that need to be followed to hide the properties in OpenPlant Modeler.
As an example, will see how to hide a default property “BRANCH CODE”. Attached the snap below before hiding a property.
