Background

While working with AutoPLANT Modeler and AutoPLANT I-Model Composer. User creates different design properties in Piping table. This Pipe line properties need to reflect in AutoPLANT  I-Model composer. Following steps explains the steps on how to populate those properties in AutoPLANT I-Model composer.

Steps to Accomplish

Following steps will help when custom attribute is added in PIPING table.

1.Open Bentley Class editor V8i

2.Open the AutoPlantPDWPersistenceStrategySchema.01.00.ecschema.xml from the below directory.

C:\ProgramData\Bentley\imodelComposer V8i\Workspace\Ecschema\Plant\AutoPLANT

3.New attribute should be added in Piping Component.

4.Give the Name TEST1. (As per your requirement)

5.Add custom Attributes AutoPLANT_PDW_Property_Map 

6.Define the AutoPLANT Property under AutoPLANT_PDW_Property_Map

7.Save the schema. 

8.Now open model in Bentley I-model composer and model will start showing the property in AutoPLANT I-Model Composer.
