There have been scenarios where users wanted to keep the installation location on their D:\ drive but it fails repeatedly without any obvious reason.
While OpenBuildings Designer offers the flexibility for you to install the software at any location you desire, it would still require a certain amount of space in the \ProgramData folder under the C:\ drive. This particular space is required to store the package cache files. The package cache helps the software to repair, uninstall or modify itself, without harming other functions of the machine. Hence we recommend to free up more space in the \ProgramData folder, as this should allow the installation to complete.
