Background

In OpenPlant PID there are units like pressure where the interpretation from English to Russian is not done properly. Presently it gets “манометр” reflected which is incorrect and instead correct interpretation, “Избыточное” should get refected. In English it can be referred as, “Pressure Gauge”.

Steps to Accomplish

1. Launch Open Plant Project Administrator CONNECT Edition U8.
   
   
    
   
2. In OpenPlant Project Administrator, Click on OpenPlant PID application for the required project in WorkSpace and click on Tools. After clicking on OpenPlant PID, in Tools-> Class Editor icon gets enabled as shown in image below.Below Considered Metric Project.
   
   
   
3. Whichever Schema gets locaded kindly right click on that and close it. Load Units_Schema_Supplemental_Localization_ru.01.00.ecschema directly through below path:
   C:\Program Files\Bentley\OpenPlant CONNECT Edition\OpenPlantPID\Assemblies\ECFramework\ru
   
   
4. As it get loaded select Unit Schema Supplemental Location _ru and on right hand side you can view the localization specification along with added Resources from 1 to 1844 numbers
   
   
5. If any Resource expanded you will get Key, Value GUID  in which Value holds the interpreted words from English to Russian(Cyrillic Characters).Searching through Class as Pressure is not possible.And expanding each and every Resource to check the Pressure unit value which has will,"манометр”  be lengthy and tedious task.Hence recommended other approach would be through Notepad++.
   
   
   
6.    Click on Notepad++ icon.
   
7.  A new file gets generated, Go to Search-A and in Find in Files window type in,"манометр” in Find what-B.
   Select the Directory - C,Go to of ECFramework path  as shown below which consist of Units_Schema_Supplemental_Localization_ru.01.00.ecschema -D
   Select Folder-E and hit on Find All-F.
   
   
   
8. All lines containing,"манометр” gets displayed along with its exact location as shown below.Click on any line which consist of ,"манометр” and the respective file will get loaded up.
   
   
   
9.  Now click on replace in files after entering, “Избыточное”.
   
   
   
   
   
10. After hitting on replace the correct word,“Избыточное” will replace with ,"манометр”.Save the Units_Schema_Supplemental_Localization_ru.01.00.ecschema.
    (MAKE SURE ALWAYS TAKE THE BACKUP OF ORGINAL FILE AND DO THE CHANGES).
    
    
    
    
11. After rectifying the changes restart OPPID and it can be seen that the exact interpreted word for Pressure Gauge in Russian,“Избыточное” will be reflected as shown below.
