Background
Our Agenda in this Wiki article to change the text style for an Equipment. Here in the Below image the text style for equipment is EQUIPMENT style. Let’s try to change the default text style attributes as per requirement.
Steps to Accomplish
- Launch OpenPlant PID Connect Edition, go to file and click on Settings >File and the select Design File Settings.
- In Design File Setting, under Working units, change the settings according to below image and save the settings.
- Once done, click on File and browse for PIDProjectTemplates.dgnlib file in the below provided location and hit Open.
- Ensure that Design File Settings for DGNlib is also same as that of DGN and save the settings here as well. Like Step 2
- In dgnlib, Click on Annotate, and from the Text ribbon click on Highlighted button to open Text Style Window.
- Click on lock Icon and give desired height and Width, color Font style etc. as below.In Text Style window, right click on Equipment text and change its attributes like Height, Width ,Color, Font Etc.
- Once done Save the text Style edited in PIDProjectTemplates.dgnlib and click on Green Arrow at lower left bottom of the window to go back to dgn.
- Upon clicking the arrow we will come to active dgn file and with text style window on screen , right click on Equipment text style and Update the Library.
- Close the Text Style window and place an Equipment to see the changes.
