Background
In P&ID there is always slight modification done in an existing drawn. Usually it is related to pipeline of existing drawn. In other words there is need to change the Piperun of existing Pipeline to different Pipeline.
This wiki will help user how to quickly modify the piperun into different required Pipeline
Steps to Accomplish
- Launch OpenPlant PID CE.
- Go to Piping Utilities through Piping tab in Piping Galleries group.
- In Piping Utilities gallery option select Change Pipe Run’s Pipeline.
- After clicking on icon-Select Pipeline to set for Piperun.i.e Select the Pipeline B10002 first through which you need the same to be reflected on Piperun
- Then click on Piperun on which you need to make the changes as shown below. Need to change the Existing B10003’s piperun to that of B10002.
- After hitting one more click in blank area of dgn the changes will get reflected.B10003 Piperun gets reflected in same as that of B10002.
When you execute this command, User will be prompted to select the pipeline, then the pipe run to add to it. Left-click to accept the selection and create the relationship between the pipe run and the pipeline.
- The pipe run will inherit the pipeline properties.
