Problem

This is a common issue faced by users. They need to use multiple applications simultaneously, and that is the reason sometimes they forgot to close the application that they are not using. In the OBD we have a variable that will help to close OBD on its own when it is not in use.

Solution

 

The name of the configuration is
MS_IDLETIMEOUT

If defined, it specifies the number of minutes of inactivity to wait before exiting the OpenBuildings Designer.
The minimum value that can be assigned to this configuration variable is 30 minutes.
A value of 0 means never exit, even when OBD is kept idle.
