Changing the current level of elements to a different level?

Background:

You can use the Remap Elements tool to change elements from their current level (or levels) to a different level(s). 

Steps to Accomplish:

Below is the workflow to change the level of elements to different level:

  1. Hover over the elements to be modified, for example, Duct. In this case, you can see the level of the duct is "M-EF-65-40-M-Ventilation" using the flyover, or you can see the same in the Building Elements Info dialog.

  2. Next, choose Level Manager under the Common Tools group, right-click on the original source level, and select Remap Elements.



  3. Select the Destination level name that will be mapped to the source level and then click OK. Now the destination level (A_CA_70_10_10-M_SiteAccommodation) has been applied to the Duct.
