Gaps Formation  or Discontinuation formed after moving Instruments or components  on an Instrument lines or Process lines.

Steps to Resolve

  1. Select the lines in which there is formation of gap or in a discontinuation form as it will be highlighted automatically in Magenta Color after selection.

  2. To make the pipeline or Instrument line in a continuous form again, click on Key in Icon as shown below or type in Search option as “key in”.

  3. As Keyin Dialog box appears, type in “Pid Piperun Jump Components” and hit Enter.

  4. It can be observed that the Gap formed on an instrument line or on a pipeline is filled or restored  as in continuous form.

  5. For multiple lines, below image shows the Lines which has Gap Formation or in a discontinuous form.

  6. Select all the lines and click on Keyin and type in same command  “Pid Piperun Jump Components” and hit Enter.

  7. All the Process line or Instrument line which were having Gap formation or in a discontinuous form is restored again to continuous form.

Thus the Pid Piperun Jump Components from keyin helps in making pipeline or instrument lines in an continuous form again from formed gap on it.
