Background
In OpenPlant Modeler CE, some dgn files were opened which can be designed in different applications or older versions. While editing the solids, the following dialogue of solids accuracy gets evoked.
Usually, recommended way is to select Yes. But during project some designers click on No or cancel which leads to be the inconsistence setting in the project for all models. To avoid this conflict there is a way to surpass this dialogue so that any designer would not come across to it. This wiki article explains how to surpass the dialogue.
Steps to Accomplish
- Open the Modeler.cfg file from the below mentioned location
C:\ProgramData\Bentley\OpenPlant CONNECT Edition\Configuration\Workspaces\”Desired Workspace name”\WorkSets\” Desired workset name”\Standards\OpenPlant\Modeler.
- Add the Configuration variable MS_DEFAULT_SOLID_EXTENT = 0.0 // Warning disabled… in the file as shown
- Save the file & verify the results by launching the OpenPlant Modeler CONNECT Edition. This time the dialogue will not be evoked.
