Background

In OpenPlant Modeler CE, Parametric Equipment cannot be saved by default in an xml file as no property contains Parametric Property Marker custom attribute in schema.
In this wiki article, we will follow steps to save Device Type Code property of Parametric Equipment in xml file.

Steps to Accomplish

  1. Launch Bentley Class Editor CONNECT Edition.

  2. For desired workset location, Select OpenPlant_3D.01.08 schema & click on Open to load the schema. Supplement the loaded schema with OpenPlant_3D_Supplemental_ModelingViews.01.08.ecschema.

Refer to the attached Wiki link to know, How to Load & Supplement Schema in Bentley Class Editor. Link >>
