Problem

I am not able to create Deployment Image. Shortly after starting the process, the following message appears: “Failed to copy payload for Visualization”. The process has failed and a log. file has been created.

Solution

There a couple of files that are being created during the process of Deployment Image creation. Make sure to delete them before the second attempt. Otherwise they might not be overwritten and cause failure. Delete all folders with the suffix "v23.00.00.114" from the standard location C:\ProgramData\Package Cache\ and files from C:\BentleyDownloads. After that create the Deployment Image. Please note that the end of the name "v23.00.00.114" can vary depending on the last update of the software. In this case, OpenBuildings Designer version 23.00.00.114 was installed.
