In OpenPlant Modeler CONNECT Edition, requirement is to create a new associated item using OpenPlant Project Administrator CONNECT Edition
Background
In OpenPlant Modeler CONNECT Edition, creating a new pipeline shows default associated items as Unit Service & Plant Area, refer image as shown below.

Below wiki article explain the customizations to add a new associated item as FACILITY CODE.
Steps to Accomplish
- Launch OpenPlant Project Administrator CONNECT Edition.

- From Settings ribbon, expand your desired workset & select OpenPlant Modeler. Click on Schema Editor as shown below.

- From Schema Configuration dialog, enter class name as Plant Breakdown Element & click on Search icon as shown below.

- Expand Plant Breakdown Element class, right mouse on it & select Add Derived class to add a new class as FACILITY CODE. Refer image below.

- Enter class name details as FACILITY_CODE & Display Label as FACILITY CODE as shown below.

- Click on OK to proceed.
- Notice that FACILITY CODE class name enlisting under Plant Breakdown parent class as shown below.

- From Properties, select NAME property & click on Mark Property as Business Key tool. Refer below image.

- Click on Save to save the setting.

- Once done click on Close to close the Schema Configuration Dialog.
- From OpenPlant Project Administrator CONNECT Edition, switch to Settings ribbon & select Property Display Tool, refer image as shown below.

- From Schema Configuration dialog, search for FACILITY CODE class. Expand Name property & make General Status & Status in Element Information as Editable as shown below.

Note: Once Name status has been changed, ensure to click on Tab key from your keyboard.
- Click on Save. Refer above image for sequential steps.
- From OpenPlant Project Administrator CONNECT Edition, switch to Settings ribbon & select Associations option as shown below.

- From Schema Configuration dialog, click on Add (+) icon to include a class as associated item.

- From Select Class dialog, search for FACILITY CODE & click on Select Class as shown below.

- Likewise, click on Add icon again & add Pipeline class as shown below.

- Once done, added association classes will enlist as shown below.

- From Schema Configuration dialog, click on Pipeline class, drag it & release it on FACILITY CODE class, refer image as shown below.

- Notice that it asks to create/define a relationship as shown below.
- Enter relationship name as FACILITY_CODE_HAS_PIPELINE.

- Under Define Relationship dialog, click on three dots against Source Name & search for FACILITY_CODE as shown below.

- Under Define Relationship dialog, click on three dots against Target Name & search for Pipeline class as shown below.

- Once Source Name & Target Name have been defined, click on OK to proceed further.

- Click on Save to save all the settings.
- Launch OpenPlant Modeler CONNECT & verify the newly created associated item.
