Background
This article will explain how we can add the custom tool group, custom tool button that will enlist custom added components into gallery.
Steps to Accomplish
- Load OpenPlant Modeler CONNECT Edition in your desired workset.
- Open OPModeler.dgnlib from desired workset location & click on Open.
- Right click on white space of ribbon & select Customize Ribbon as shown below
- Under Customize Ribbon dialog, from right hand pane (Customize the Ribbon section). Expand OpenPlant Modeler node and further expand Support Gallery Component. Refer image below
- Right click on Support Gallery Component node & select Add New Group as shown below.
- Enter desired group name here Test Tool Group. Refer image below.
- From left hand pane, choose components from as Button. Refer image below
- From left hand pane add Anchors support as shown below
- Add support list as shown below
- Under Customize Ribbon Dialog, from right hand pane (Customize the Ribbon section). Expand Engineering Support node and further expand Support. Click on Support as shown below
- Right click on Support node & select Add New Button as shown below.
- Enter desired Button name here. Refer image below
- For added button, from Properties, Add Description as Sample and define Besm Menucontext Test Tool Group key-in.
- Select Size as Large & click on Icon Name to define your custom icon. Click on Apply Refer image below.
- From support ribbon group click on Sample ribbon tool as shown below
- Verify the result from component gallery. See below image as Test Tool group in component gallery.
