Problem
I am not able to create a section drawing with a specific height. Instead I always see the whole model.
Solution
Below is a workflow that will allow you to create a section with a specific height, for example showing only one floor or a particular area of the design.
- Place a Section callout using the Drawing Seed "Arch – Building Section" with Height defined as “From View”. Remember the option “Create Drawing” should be checked.

- If you have multiple Buildings defined in your file, select the Building Definition to be associated with the Drawing.

- Notice the clip volume's edit handles display as an arrow by default, which means they are uncropped. You can crop a particular edit handle by right clicking on it and choosing the option "Toggle Cropping". The icons will change from arrow heads to circular heads.

- Create the section drawing associated with this Building (if you use this option) and go to the drawing model to see that only a part of a wall is visible. Its height is now defined by the location of the cropped edit handle.

- Go back to the Design Model and un-crop the edit handle to see that it will affect the visibility of the model in the section drawing.
