How to preview reports of placed components in OpenPlant Modeler.
Background
Before actually exporting or using the reports. User may want to review if the reports affirm to his requirements so that he can decide if he wants to accept the final output or wants any changes in it.
This wiki article allows us to query the components in the drawing so that the user can decide whether is output is apt or not and has steps to accomplish this requirement.
Steps to Accomplish
- Select OpenPlant Modeler workflow.
- From the Piping Ribbon, Tools group, select Reports.
- Select In Drawing Reports.
- A dialog will open. Select the category of reports that need to be previewed. For e.g. Equipment.
- Right-click and select Preview.
- A window with preview results will open.
