Background
In OpenPlant Modeler CE, the requirement is to change or modify any property of piping commodity in bulk. This wiki article explains how to represent the same. Let’s take two examples as follows
1. Adding the Unit number in Pipe which is empty as shown.
2. Changing the description of support.
Steps to Accomplish
- Launch OpenPlant Modeler CONNECT Edition.
- Place the desired piping & supports arrangement as shown
- From piping > primary, click on explorer as shown
>> Example-1 Adding the Unit number in Pipe which is empty as shown. - Expand the items, search for pipe, click right mouse button & hit on details as shown.
- Right-click on unit number & edit the fields as shown
- Enter the desired unit number as shown & hit ok.
- To check the results, open pipe properties & notice the changes as shown.
>> Example - 2 hanging the short description of support. - Same as step-4, Expand the items, search for U-bolt Anchor, click right mouse button & hit on details as shown.
- Right-click on short description & edit the fields as shown
- Enter the desired description as shown & hit ok.
- To check the results, open U-Bolt Anchor support properties & notice the changes as shown.
