How to show Centerline on HVAC Duct In OpenPlant Modeler CONNECT Edition.

In OpenPlant Modeler CONNECT Edition, the requirement is to show center-line for HVAC ducts.

Background

In OpenPlant Modeler CONNECT Edition, While placing HVAC rectangular or oval duct center-line is not shown, refer image as shown below. Center-line representation for ducts does not show by default, this wiki article explains how to represent the center-line for ducts.

Steps to Accomplish

  1. Launch OpenPlant Modeler CONNECT Edition.



  2. Choose the required Workspace, Workset & open any design (.dgn) file.

  3. From File > Settings > Configurations, select Configuration Variables, refer image as shown below.




  4. Add new configuration variable as HVAC_ADDCENTERLINE. Refer sequential steps as bulleted below.




  5. Save Configuration & Relaunch OpenPlant Modeler.

  6. From HVAC > HVAC Galleries > DUCTS place a Rectangular Duct as shown below to verify results.



    Notice that center-line for routed duct can be seen.
