Problem Description
After upgrading your OBD when starting it the Import Structural Dataset Content dialog box is prompted. When trying to select shape database OBD closes forcefully. How to resolve this error?
Solution
Please follow the below process to fix this issue.
- At first, you will have to go to this location: “C:\Program Files\Bentley\OpenBuildings CONNECT Edition\OpenBuildingsDesigner\Default\appl\Shapes” and check if all the content of the Shapes file is available.
- After that from Control Panel under Programs and Features search for OpenBuildings Designer and repair it.
- After repairing your OBD please restart it and the issue will be resolved.
