Hiding the base region in Compound Slabs using VBA

  Product(s): OpenBuildings Designer
  Version(s): Connect Edition
  Area: Architectural Design

Problem:

After using the Punch Hole command I am still seeing the base region. How can I hide the base region so that I can see the opening through the entire compound slab?

Solution:

Right now, the base region of a compound slab is set to primary class. With the help of VBA you can change all base regions to construction class, and then after you disable the Construction Class setting from View Attributes they will be hidden so you can see the opening more prominently. Please refer to the below video as a demonstration. Also attached is the VBA that will perform the operation.
