Problem description
How can I use the Label Coordinate tool in OpenBuilding Designer's MicroStation mode?
Solution
In OpenBuildings Designer MicroStation mode (or MicroStation itself) we have the tools Label Point Coordinate (Used to label coordinate points in the design by entering a data point. Coordinate labels are placed in the design as text nodes. When ACS Lock is enabled, this tool labels the coordinates based on the Active ACS.) and Label Element Coordinates (Used to label the coordinates of elements. When you label an element, all of the element's key points are labeled (all vertices and the origin) but these tools don’t have an equivalent leader line like OpenBuildings Designer's Label Coordinate tool.
Below is the workflow that will allow you to use the Label Coordinate tool in MicroStation mode.
1. In OpenBuildings Designer MicroStation Mode open the Key-in window and run "MDL LOAD" and then load the tfannotate.ma from the Available Applications dialog.
2. Now run the Key-in tfplace Label coordinate to open the Label Coordinate dialog.
