For OpenPlant Modeler CONNECT Edition Update 8, requirement is to know about i-model name from application interface.

Background

For a PlantSight integrated workset, requirement is to know the details about i-model information to ensure that current workset is provisioned by which i-model. In this wiki article, we will explore about new key-in that will be used to fetch information about i-model for a PlantSight integrated workset in OpenPlant Modeler Update 8.

Steps to Accomplish

  1. Launch OpenPlant Modeler CONNECT Edition Update 8.
  2. Ensure to select the PlantSight enabled workset & open any desired model file. Please note that PlantSight enabled workspace will show different icon as shown below.

  3. Once model file is loaded, from Primary ribbon group, click on Key-in ribbon tool to evoke the Key-in command.



  4. Enter key-in value as mechaddin plantsight imodelinfo and enter to execute the key-in. Refer image as shown below.



  5. Notice that to message bar, it prompt message as iModel Information. Click on i icon as shown below.

  6. Notice that, to detailed message we can find the entire details as shown below.
